The Pecos Bill Boot name was established in 1967 by the Masso family in McAllen Texas. Having a chain of western wear stores on the Mexico border, the family needed a quality boot line at affordable prices. The Masso's began manufacturing the Pecos Bill Boot line in Mexico and were one of the first American boot companies to do so. Now, almost all of the boot companies manufacture some of their boots in Mexico. Over the years the Pecos Bill Boot line was only sold in the families western stores.

The Texas Company incorporated under International Imports, Inc. (D.B.A. International Manufacturing Group) and also manufactures a men's exotic footwear line under the name La Scarpa. The Company is now ready to expand the Pecos Bill Boot line and the La Scarpa men's Footwear line with superior quality and great pricing.
